The Pad project- what is it?

PAD, short for positive attitude development, is a project set to improve employability among youth with social and mental problems. It focuses on reducing stigma and influencing employers and societies to improve their attitudes toward the target group.
The project is joint between Arcada and Tallinn University and financed by Central Baltic/Interreg. The idea is to create regular face-to-face meetings together with educational/research institutions, public health and non-governmental-organizations and representatives of the target group. The interactive approach is a new attempt to not only find solutions to similar problems in both countries, but to also create a basis for future co-operation.
In this blog you can read about different events within the project and about thoughts and ideas that might occur through the process. The posts will be written by students, youth, steering group members and other people involved.
