Inspired

Last spring adventurers Pata Degerman, Aron Anderson, alongside with 45 Arcada students, formed Expedition Arcada and travelled to the French Alps in La Grave. Our plan was to climb a 300 meter vertical rock wall and to produce two documentaries, a book and a bunch of short clips of the whole process. And rest assured, we did. It marked an adventure in our lives that I personally will never forget. Now we get the chance to share it with the rest of you.
On December 8th Expedition Arcada will organize an entertaining gala night, celebrating the release of its two documentaries and book. To me it will be an occasion celebrating many things: seeing the result of all the hard work and personal investment put into the project, enjoying the friendships that were made, and being reminded of what can be achieved through vision and dedication.
Expedition Arcada 2015 was an intense learning experience and one of its kind. It is something to be shared and that will hopefully inspire others to embark on similar journeys. It reflects both what we as individuals, and as a group can achieve. It was an ambitious project that demanded intense collaboration between the expedition members, supporters and Arcada. The process taught each of us a whole deal about what working together really means. I was personally lucky to also learn I had an interest in writing, which then led to new things. I would like to end with a quote:
“Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t – you’re right.”
― Henry Ford
