Greetings form Oslo!

In June, me and my team, Team Hermes, took part in the fifth edition of IntelligenceHunt competitions. The main idea behind the competition is to get students out there in the world and get familiar with the maritime industry. I worked for a company called Wärtsilä and our case to solve, was to create an app that ranks routes according to time, cost and carbon footprint. Special about this app is that it uses apart from roads and rails, ferry as part of the transportation chain. The app we built is called AuRoRa, an acronym for Automatic Route Ranker. Our team won the competition. Later this year in October we get to participate in the Ocean Exchange finals in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
