IP in Iceland part 2

On Tuesday evening the Icelandic students packed all of us into their cars and took us up the nearest mountain so that we could see the Northern Lights. However, the lights are completely unpredictable, and by the time we got there, there were no lights at all. The Icelandic weather in general has been very interesting and different from home, you never know if it’s going to snow, rain, or be sunny or what the temperature is going to be.
On Wednesday we had a very intense day at the University. We had a few classes throughout the day and a presentation for the group teachers where we got to discuss our project process, we worked on the project for many hours and in the afternoon each group had another meeting with their designated tutor teacher.
In the evening we had dinner with the other students at a nice hamburger restaurant in town. We had planned to go bowling later, but everyone still had so much to do on the project that we decided to stay in the hostel and work that evening.
For the project we had to write a 5-page report and make a one-page summary for the board and give a presentation of the report on Friday morning. The time for completing this project has been very limited and everyone has had to work efficiently with a tight schedule. Every group has worked on a case, related to HRM in Mergers and Acquisitions, given by the board.
With just a few days to finish the project, the timetable has been very hectic, but we have had a lot of fun at the same time!
